At St. Francis de Sales Parish School, we believe faith comes alive through service. Community service gives our students opportunities to put their Catholic faith into action by sharing their time, talents, and gifts with others.

Students are encouraged to serve their school, parish, local community, and nonprofit organizations. Through these experiences, students develop compassion, generosity, responsibility, and stewardship while learning that even small acts of service can make a meaningful difference.

Service opportunities may include helping at school or parish events, assisting others in the community, supporting charitable organizations, and volunteering with causes that are meaningful to students and their families. Parents and guardians are encouraged to help students discover opportunities to serve and to support them as they grow in their commitment to serving others.

Through community service, our students learn that living their faith is not simply about what we believe; it is about how we put our faith into action and make a difference in the lives of others.
