School Advisory Committee

Our School Advisory Commission (SAC) is a team of dedicated parents and parishioners who partner with the pastor and principal to help St. Francis de Sales Parish School grow and thrive. In an advisory role, the SAC shares ideas, offers expertise, and supports the mission of providing an excellent, faith-filled education for every child.

What We Do
  • Faith and Mission: Help the school remain rooted in Catholic values and the Church's mission.
  • Academic Excellence: Supporting high-quality teaching and learning for all students.
  • Whole-Child Education: Promoting programs that nurture students’ spiritual, intellectual, emotional, and physical growth.
  • Finance and Resources: Assisting with budget planning, tuition considerations, and long-term sustainability.
  • Enrollment and Advancement: Helping with marketing, development, and community outreach to keep the school vibrant and welcoming.
  • Facilities and Safety: Offering input on school safety, maintenance, and technology planning.
How We Work

The SAC is a consultative group. It gives recommendations to the Pastor and Principal but does not handle day-to-day school operations or personnel matters. Members collaborate closely with school leadership so decisions reflect the Catholic community's mission and values.

Who We Are

The commission typically includes five to nine members who bring a variety of talents and perspectives, along with non-voting ex officio members such as the pastor and principal. Members serve three-year terms and may lead or serve on subcommittees for marketing, finance, or facilities.

Together, the commission shares one goal: helping the school continue to grow in faith, excellence, and community.
